Application
Q1. What are the eligibility requirements?
We seek applicants with a strong interest in financial engineering. A minimum commitment of one year is required, except for those preparing for graduate study abroad.
Q2. Is the application process conducted in person?
No. All application procedures are conducted online via Zoom.
Q3. Can I submit my application in Korean?
Yes, you may submit your application in Korean.
Q4. Can I apply without programming experience?
Yes. Basic proficiency in Python is required. If you have no prior experience, we strongly recommend taking Udacity’s Introduction to Python Programming before applying.
Q5. Are graduate students eligible to apply?
Yes. Undergraduate students, graduate students, and working professionals are all welcome to apply.
Q6. How much math/statistics knowledge is required?
A basic understanding of calculus and a course in probability theory based on calculus is recommended, but not strictly required.
Q7. Do I need to schedule my interview time?
No. After the document screening stage, we will contact you via email to coordinate the Zoom interview schedule.
Q8. When will I know the result of my application?
Final results will be sent via email on the last day of interviews.
Q9. What is the membership fee?
There is a one-time lifetime membership fee of KRW 100,000, which covers subscriptions to tools like ChatGPT Pro, Grammarly, and Mathpix. A separate deposit-based activity fee is fully refundable upon active participation.
Sessions
Q1. Are sessions conducted in English?
No. Sessions are held in Korean, but all instructional materials are provided in English.
Q2. How many sessions must I attend during the year?
In the first semester, one Core session and one Specialization session are mandatory. In the second semester, you may freely choose one additional Specialization session.
Q3. When are the sessions held?
All sessions take place on weekends between 8 PM and 11 PM.
Q4. Are sessions held in person?
No. All sessions are conducted online via Zoom.
